In the age of the Internet and instant publishing, we still have to deal with the age old Snert -- you know the ones -- the bed wetting Snert Monkey types. Today they call them Trolls. But I'm not talking about the "it's all about me types" who live to start an argument to gain a sense of self-esteem, I'm talking about the full blown out of control persona of evil itself.
Genealogy.Com is currently infected with one of the evil ones who, while Gen.Forum is trying to be politically correct, is destroying a family genealogy board. As I hear it, people are leaving in droves due to Gen.Forums inaction. What happened to Gen.Com TOS Statement?
"In consideration of your use of the Sites and the Services, you agree, where information is requested, to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself, and to maintain and update it promptly. You agree that if any information you provide is false, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, we may terminate your use of the Sites and/or the Services."
It is of course, Larry Keels who has raised his head on the Gen.Forum sites and others. Currently, the pro White Racism proponent (as it appears), is making his attacks on the following Boards; Assembly of God Board, Church of God Board, American Indian Board, African-American Board, Senior Citizen Board, Redbone Board, Melungeon Board, Tuscarora Board and others.
This is but one -- others have been deleted.http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AOGDialog/message/4781
Larry Keels uses other email handles such as "Dean Keels (ID ******1523), Les Cummings, Lester Knough Cummings, Lucy Suder (who he claims at times to be his sister), LaRee E (Not to be confused with Laree Lee), Les (ID ******9902), Les Knough, Lulu Sweet, cruzjohnnypass (who he may impersonate at times or may even be him) and others." In some cases, he even talks to himself using these alias names. Of course, his objective is to create the appearance of debate while he lays in wait to belittle and harass the unwary. As I hear it, in a request to his hate site, johnnycruzpass asks to be removed, but Larry only puts him on "no mail." Would this allow Larry to impersonate him on the Melungeon Board? I think he could -- just by changing a letter in the post name! Meanwhile, Larry keeps johnny on his site as a member. Weird things going on, on that site.
Larry Keels uses the same old tired approach he has used now for years, "he babbles!" Those of you on the MelungeonRedboneRenegade site know what I mean. Some how, he thinks he is saying something coherent with his convoluted use of Verbs and archaic nouns. In some cases, people are impressed (the slow ones) with his word smithing. Most people pickup on it right away and finger him immediately. But, nothing he has to say pertains to Genealogy -- it's all crap! Wake up Gen.Com! Wake up slow ones!
At the moment, there is a move on to remove him from the Internet period. After his veiled threats to KPLC-TV and the Louisiana Parish of Calcasieu, who by the way shadowed the RHF with visible law-enforcement during the RHF Research Meeting, I am urging Homeland Security to investigate him and his activities. Terroristic threats in this day and time are taken seriously, especially when coming from a person of this ilk. I have his address and even his phone number in Huntsville Texas.
Larry Keels stated to KPLC-TV (Jim Serra Blog) the following with respect to the RHF Conference in Lake Charles:
"I don't even think anyone should expect a visit from [']Rev. River Scott, the Imperial Wizard of the Louisiana White Knights.['] I think even he realizes "redbone" was merely a racist epithet common among that sector of the population in which Don Marler was raised and is otherwise meaningless." By Larry Keels.
Larry Keels did that exact same thing in 2006 to the Conference in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He used the same KKK master and made the same veiled threats. The effect was to keep people away from the meeting. Where does Larry Keels of Huntsville, Texas get off with invoking the KKK? Does he speak for them? Do they know he is representing them?
If you encounter Mr. Keels on a Board and if he is in violation of the Boards TOS rules, contact the administrator immediately. At the moment, he is being removed throughout the Internet, and your participation is essential to put this abomination out of commission.
Redbone Heritage Foundation
In a short interview with with RHF officials, they state that their first Research Meeting was a success, and I expect that they may plan several a year throughout the country. Aside from the yearly Conference, which appears to have gone electronic, the Research Meetings are designed to encourage Redbone Research at various Centers for Genealogy Research around the country. Some examples might include Natchez Mississippi, Richmond Virginia, Atlanta Georgia, Charleston South Carolina, Orange Texas and so forth.
This of course is in keeping with the fact that the Redbone people originated on the East Coast -- the Carolina's -- and marched Westward across Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana into Texas.
Additionally, I was told that a number of folks joined RHF at the Research Meeting after being drawn to Lake Charles just to see what all the whining was about.
One new member was said to have expressed surprise at the meeting after hearing a great deal of negative tripe from the declared King of faux Redbones near Lake Charles. This was the same guy who gleefully provided false information to the Calcasieu Library System -- I hope they remember his name, but if they don't, the name was "Jackson," perhaps that will help.
LV Hayes?
Don't believe what he has to say about Redbones in the Carolina's, on the Gen.Forum, of not being related to the Louisiana Redbones or the Mississippi Redbones -- he simply is WRONG!
OUT OF THE FOG
On Sunday/Monday morning, on the way out of Louisiana after a non-stop drive to Kentucky, I hit a deer six miles from my destination -- damage, $4,000.00 including a new Westin Deer Guard. A day later, I became ill with the intestinal flu and was bed bound until Thursday. After being driven from Kentucky to Illinois, I was hospitalized for lack of blood pressure, dehydration and the ravages of the flu. Saturday I was released, and Monday I underwent an all night study for sleep apnea which ended at One AM Tuesday morning in the emergency room.
It's been a rough two weeks. Advice? This flu is making the rounds, and if you contract it, it's best to let it run its course with plenty of rest if you can. It is dangerous though, so don't rule out your doctor or the ER. For those of you steadfast in riding this out at home, do stock up on "Pedi-lite," especially if you are salt or sugar sensitive.
Best,
